The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church has inducted Pastor & Evang. (Mrs.) Joseph Sunday Adigun as the Superintendent of CAC Adamasingba Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Adamasingba, Ibadan.
At the induction service held on Sunday, May 12, 2024, Pastor Adigun was inducted by the Regional Superintendent of CAC Babalola, Pastor Gabriel S. Dada who represented the church authority.
The service had in attendance the President of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele and General Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi.
In his message titled "Feed My Sheep" at the programme, the Regional Superintendent of Babalola Region, Pastor Dada told the newly inducted Superintendent that Jesus expects Shepherd (Ministers) to feed the flock with the kind of food He wants.
While saying that Jesus expects that Shepherds should care for the flock, Pastor Dada noted that shepherding the flock is one of the major duties of the shepherd.
He told Pastor Adigun that; "you must care for the flock in Adamasingba DCC. The flock of God must be fed with the right word of God. You are to feed them, protect them, lead them and go after the wandering and bring them back."
On rewards of feeding the flock, the Babalola Regional Superintendent stated that God will take care of the shepherd.
He added that; "happiness is not about accumulation of wealth but about doing the will of God. Depend on God for all supply. I don't want you to doubt God, but relent totally on Him."
Pastor Dada implored the church to take care of Pastor Adigun and his family.
Before the message, induction rite set the tone for the ceremony, as Pastor Adigun and his wife were presented before the church, the DCC executives, and the council of CAC Adamasingba; the guidelines of his new office were outlined, solidifying his role and responsibilities.
This moment also included a special introduction of Pastor Adigun’s wife to the leaders of the ministers' wives and the Good Women's representatives. It was a gesture that underscored the importance of familial support in church leadership.
The service reached a spiritual climax when the President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Oladele was called upon to bless Pastor Adigun and his wife, a significant act that symbolized the start of their new journey in faith and leadership.
The induction service was a grand affair, attended by dignitaries from around the world. Friends and family of Pastor Adigun, along with pastors and their wives from across the DCC, gathered to witness and celebrate this significant event.

Pastor Joseph Sunday Adigun started his primary education in 1966 at Daodu Primary School in Iwo Local Government.
In 1967, his father asked his brother Pastor Oyeniran who was a Head Teacher at CAC Erinwusi at Ido Local Government to take his son Sunday to stay with him for good education and in 1968 he was moved to St Peter's Primary School, Erinwusi, where he finished his primary education in 1972.

Then, he decided to learn driving and became a Danfo Driver. While he was doing this job, he started receiving the call of God to the ministry, but he refused and moved back to Ibadan in 1979 and joined the Oya State Ministry of Justice as Grade Three Driver and was there until 1983 when the "call" to the work of God forced him out of the driving job, and at that point, he gave his life to Christ and started his tutelage under Pastor M. Consequently, Ibadan was divided to few districts among which Agbokojo District was one of the newly created ones with our father, late Pastor S. O Obafunso as its first District Superintendent. Further, in 1989, Pastor Joseph Sunday Adigun attended the Leadership Training Program that was established by our current president of the mission, Pastor S. O Oladele when our father was the Assembly Pastor for CAC Agbokojo. Also at that period, Pastor Sunday Joseph Adigun was appointed as the first Sunday School Coordinator for Agbokojo District until September 1990.
Pastor Joseph Sunday Adigun left Nigeria in September 1990 for Athens, Greece. On his arrival in Greece, he joined CAC Agbala Itura Athens Branch in 1991 where he served as an Evangelist. In 1995, he was ordained by proxy by the authority of the Church, and he was later re-ordained in 1998. He pastored the Church for 10 years, and through the help of the Lord, without loan from any bank, under the leadership and administration of Pastor Joseph Sunday Adigun, the church was able to purchase their church building where they are worshiping till date. He relocated with his family to the United Kingdom in the year 2003.
