Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has inaugurated CAC House of Prayer Zone, United Kingdom, Anosike Region and inducted Pastor Damilola Aje as the pioneer Zonal Superintendent.

Representing the church authority, the Regional Superintendent of CAC Anosike Region, Pastor Simeon Oladokun conducted the induction rites, as he delivered the sermon from the text, Psalm 78:60-72.

He mentioned that the Lord has the prerogative to choose and reject people to serve in His vineyard.

The cleric who gave a biblical background of God's choice of Israel as His people while He also chose Shiloh as a place of worship, furthering on God's choice of Zion, and David to lead His people, told the congregation that God underscores His sovereignty in His choice.

Pastor Oladokun also exposited from the scriptures how God is the Chief Shepherd who chooses shepherds to lead His people.

Stressing the many lessons from David, the Regional Superintendent noted things to be learnt from. David's leadership to include, his heart of integrity, skills, and servant-leadership.

On integrity, the clergyman explained it to mean seeing and treating God's people like those that Christ died for; while he described skills as being groomed and having the requisite knowledge to know and lead people by God's Spirit to their glorious destiny and destination.

Explaining David's servant-leadership attribute, he said that "God calls His choice leaders to be a servant-leaders, following the example of Jesus washing the feet of His disciples."

Pastor Oladokun emphasised that Godly leaders are chosen, gifted, empowered by God to grow His people and His church till His second coming.

The Regional Superintendent concluded by stating how leaders should shepherd God's people, for healing, for sustenance, with guidance, for reconciliation with their Saviour within themselves and with others, and for growth.

It was a beautiful occasion attended by the Regional Superintendent of Anosike Region Pastor Simeon Oladokun; Secretary to the region and DCC Superintendent, Pastor Sunday Asoso; Liason Officer of the region, Pastor Thomas; Zonal Superintendent from the Republic of Ireland, Pastor Kuyebi; Pastors from the assemblies of House of Prayer Zone and other Ministers and leaders from other denominations in Glasgow, Edinburgh and other cities in the United Kingdom.
