The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has inaugurated Christ Apostolic Church, Mount of the Lord Zone, Badagry, Lagos and inducted Pastor J.A. Abolaji as the pioneer Zonal Superintendent.
The inauguration of the zone and induction of the pioneer Zonal Superintendent took place on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Zonal Headquarters in Agakoh(CAC street, off ten shops), Ajara Agamathen Badagry Lagos state.
Pastor Abolaji was inducted by the Pearce Regional Superintendent, Pastor S. O. Aluko who represented the Church Authority.
Pastor Aluko, while ministering on the topic "Expecting and maintaining church growth" cited biblical references from the Book of Act of the Apostles chapter one through six.
He charged the congregation to not only labour for growth but be able to maintain the growth as its enfolds. This should not be in spiritual matters alone but also in other spheres of their lives.
He noted in his sermon that everything we see that is great today has a very humble beginning while charging the church not to relent as there are still more grounds to cover. In this journey of attaining more growth, he charged the inductee not to necessarily look for associates but for achievers
He further iterate that structures should be in place to manage each level of growth attained by the church.
Pastor Aluko cited the book of Act chapter 6 where division of labour was applied in the early church to curb the murmuring involving serving of tables between the Grecians and the Hebrews because there was great multiplication in the numbers of disciples.
Among the notable faces in attendance are the Superintendent, CAC Badagry DCC, Pastor E.A Babalola; CAC Ibereko Zonal superintendent, Pastor J.O Pastor Awosanya; CAC Ifeoluwa Zonal superintendent, Pastor S.A Olasehinde, CAC Oke Irapada Zonal superintendent, Pastor J.A. Olatope amidst others.
Also in attendance were family, friends and well wishers of Pastor Abolaji.
