The Christ Apostolic Church Council of Publicity Secretaries (CACCOPS) has been called upon to embrace digital platforms and mentor younger generations of Christ Apostolics, both at home and in the diaspora, particularly those in educational institutions and youth corps.

At the 20th Annual Publicity Week/Conference of CACCOPS, held at CAC All Saints' Chapel, Ibadan, the President of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele (represented by Regional Superintendent of CAC Babalola Region, Pastor G.S. Dada), emphasized the need for publicity secretaries to recruit and encourage younger generations to serve as volunteer publicists and social media influencers. This, he noted, would benefit both the church and the volunteers.

The President urged CACCOPS to leverage social media, websites, and mobile apps to reach a broader audience and share the church's messages.

He also recommended adopting innovative communication strategies such as storytelling, visual content, and community engagement.

Pastor Oladele stressed the importance of fashioning ways to engage members at various levels and launching targeted campaigns to raise awareness, promote events, and drive engagement.

He encouraged collaboration with the youth through CACYOF and media professionals within the church.

Pastor Oladele emphasized the need for faith-based organizations to explore innovative methods of communication to effectively reach both members and non-members in a non-offensive yet result-oriented manner.

The conference theme, "Faith-based Organisations and the Need for Innovative Communication Strategies," highlighted the biblical significance of strategic communication.
