It was a day of sublime ministration of sacred hymns by the choir of CAC Ilorin Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) at the Community Hymn Service to commemorate this year's birthday of the Superintendent of Ilorin DCC, Evang Emmanuel Toluwase Akeredolu on Sunday July 29, 2024.

The birthday celebration, held at the English Assembly Chapel of CAC Ilorin DCC headquarters, drew a large crowd of well-wishers, including the celebrant's family, spiritual children, ministers, and members of Ilorin DCC. Despite initial plans for a low-key event, the turnout was impressive, showcasing the esteem and affection in which the Superintendent, Evang. Emmanuel Toluwase Akeredolu, is held.

The programme also had in attendance His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr. Kayode  Alabi, Regional Secretary of CAC Babajide Region, Sabo-Oke DCC Superintendent and Regional Secretary of Babajide Region Pastor J. T. Daramola, Superintendent of CAC Gaa-Akanbi DCC, Pastor D.O. Ajaiyeoba, Prophet J.O. Adeniji, the planter, Christ Apostolic Church, Goshen Land District, Ilorin, Kwara State, Prophet Femi Dairo and many others.

While appreciating God for attaining a new age, Evang. Akeredolu said;" I give all glory to God for His mercy and protection in my life. I have faced three life-threatening situations, and each time, God saved me miraculously. I should have died three times. The most recent incident occurred while I was pastoring at CAC General Headquarters in Ebute-Elefun, Lagos. After a three-day prayer retreat in Ikeji-Arakeji, we were returning to Lagos when our car experienced a tire burst between Apomu and Ikire. The vehicle somersaulted three times, and I was trapped underneath for about 60 seconds.

"During that intense moment, two thoughts crossed my mind: the well-being of my wife and children, and the grief my aged father (then 96 years old) would endure if I didn't survive. Yet, God intervened, and none of the occupants suffered fatal injuries. This experience has strengthened my faith, and I no longer fear death. Even when traveling abroad with my wife, I pray for God's protection, trusting that if the worst happens, He will welcome us into His kingdom."

Evang. Akeredolu revealed that on his birthday, God laid it on his heart to care for the widows and the aged, which he obediently did by providing them with food items.

The wife of the celebrant, Mrs. Susan Boyinde Akeredolu described Evang. Akeredolu as a child of God and a lover of the Word of God.

She stated this the Celebrant takes care of his children, loves people around him, he's very accommodating irrespective of family, race or tribe.

Mrs. Akeredolu added that;"my husband is a lover of good music and always want excellence music. He's passionate about the work of God."

The only daughter of the celebrant, Barrister Justina Akeredolu, while speaking about him, revealed: 'I know him as "Daddy yo." He's a father who never disappoints. Being a pastor's daughter comes with its challenges, but having a father who teaches me to speak boldly, interact with people, and live as a good Christian is a gift. Thank you for showing me the true meaning of love and family. I've seen the way you love our mother, and I've learned from you how to embrace everyone. I'm grateful to have grown under the guidance of a man of God who truly knows God. I pray that for every day of your life, you will have no reason to regret, in Jesus' name."

Also speaking about Evangelist Akeredolu, the DCC Superintendent of CAC Gaa-Akanbi DCC, Pastor D.O. Ajaiyeoba, stated: 'I had heard of him before meeting him. As a Superintendent in Ikare Akoko, I chaired the planning committee that invited him for a revival program. My first impression of him was his distinctive dressing, which I admired throughout his stay with us. He's a man of his word, bold, and fearless, regardless of the circumstances. He leads an exemplary life, dedicated to prayer and the Word of God. Unlike some evangelists who may pray but lack biblical knowledge, Baba Akeredolu stands out as a unique individual."

A renowned Revivalist in Ilorin, Prophet J.O. Adeniji, appreciated God for the life of the celebrant, saying: 'Evang. Akeredolu is not a double-minded person, but rather a straightforward and uncompromising individual.

Elder Jacob Kayode Abejide, a respected Elder at CAC Ilorin DCC headquarters, described Evang. Akeredolu as a devoted lover of the Word and a bold minister.

He added: 'When Evang. Akeredolu takes the microphone and speaks, you can sense the authority of the Word, as if it's coming directly from the throne. He's not only passionate about sharing God's message, but also a loving family man, deeply committed to his wife and children."

The programme ended with photography session with the Celebrant and his wife.
