The Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Itire Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun, has said that Jesus Christ has deposited joy in all believers which is why the happiest people in the world are Christians.
He added that if anyone can't find joy in Christ, he or she can't find it anywhere in the world.
Pastor Oladokun stated this last Sunday while ministering on the topic "Joy" taking his text from Luke 2:10-11 at CAC Oke-Ibukun, Yaba DCC headquarters, Lagos.
Pastor Oladokun noted that the coming of Christ to the world was proclaimed as joy to the world and as Jesus comes into any life, such life would be full of good news.
Quoting Galatians 5:22, the Cleric opined that one of the proofs of one's regeneration is the ability to bear fruit of the Spirit, one of which is joy.
"If joy is not flowing in your heart, it means a part of your Christian heritage has been taken away. Immediately we give our lives to Christ, the joy of the Lord will come in. One may not have anything, but it's not joy after accepting Christ," he stated.
He said that it takes joy to enjoy the full benefit salvation in our lives, adding that joy grant unlimited access into the deep things of God and boost one's physical health.
