Christ Apostolic Church Ajijola Oluwa Zone Ogbomoso has held her 2024 Refresher Course. The Annual event tagged ‘GROWTH' culled from the CAC 2024 mega theme held from Thursday 25th July to Saturday 27th of July 2024 at the Zonal Headquarters.

In his welcome Address, the Zonal Superintendent, Pastor P. O Adams appreciated God for the grace received from Him, for safety and support till the event. He charged the participants that no parent will like to identify enthusiastically with a child who is not growing physically, saying that "God is interested in our continuous all round growth, that is why He gave us His word and His minister to help us in our daily growth with Him."

Exhorting the participants, the Zonal Superintendent speaking on the theme said that spiritual power and gift can only be released to mature believers, adding that, no growth, no power and gift.

He continued that the word of God is the spiritual meal that helps us to grow to maturity and thereby, become useful vessels in the vineyard of God. "There are too many baby Christians in our churches today and that’s why the devil takes advantage of us in many ways," he said.

Pastor Adams also encouraged the participants to brace up and embrace growth by developing undying passion for the word of God; and prioritize obedience and bear fruit for the kingdom. According to him, "our walk with God and continuous fruitfulness in kingdom service is premised and resourced by our growth unto maturity."

The Zonal Superintendent concluded his welcome address by urging all the participants that there are dangers of being stagnant in spiritual matters. "We must keep on growing in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus until we exit this world," he said.

The Guest Speaker, Pastor B. A Orisaleye who is the Zonal Superintendent of Ajaawa Zone, Ogbomoso, defining growth as evolution, development, increase, and expansion in all areas of life, said every Christian must grow as a child of God in these five areas of our life, spiritual Growth, psychological growth, emotional growth, physiological growth, and social growth.

Pastor Orisaleye highlighted the factors that aid growth as, being connected to divine source of growth, desire to grow, being ready to learn, and paying the price for growth. He also exposited on ministers all round growth, church growth (spiritual and numerical growth), financial and structural growth, growing to the fullness of Christ, and engaging your grace for church growth.

In his closing remarks, Pastor Adams, charged from Galatians 4:9 that change must begin from the heart, the word of mouth, and from individual lives. He concluded that if growth will occur, "we must discover ourselves. We must develop ourselves and, we must discipline ourselves in orer to pay the price for growth," praying for all the participants and implore them to go home and practice all they have learned from 2024 Refresher Course.

The chairman of the event, Pastor J. A. Popoola appreciated all the participants for their attendance and the success of the 2024 Refresher Course.
