The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi has emphasized to Pastors of Christ Apostolic Church, the need to be active and productive in ministry.
He said "the aim and objective of the conference’s theme is to challenge all ministers to receive both spiritual power and gifts to be active and productive. A challenge to all Pastors of Christ Apostolic Church is to remain active in the course of our discharge of duties. Not only active but productive."
The cleric noted this while delivering the General Superintendent's message titled "Spiritual Power and gifts for the Body of Christ" at the just concluded CAC Pastors' Conference 2024 held at Babalola International Memorial Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
Charging the ministers to pray against vanity, the clergyman used an electric fan as an illustration of hardwork and ceaseless service without any external force, because of the electric life it carries, thereby stressing the theme of the conference and its need for all ministers.
He further told the servants of God that "people may be envious and make allegations against you, but when you are filled with spiritual power and gifts, you will not be mindful of it."
"If you refuse the power of God, you cannot but be diabolic," the clergyman added.
On the need to receive spiritual power and gifts to avoid crumbling, Pastor Odejobi explained that Jesus received the Spirit of God at the river Jordan, not at the mountain but was led by the Spirit to the mountain. He therefore asked if today's ministers are not being led to the mountain today by desire for luxurious cars.
He also highlighted the different types of growth as biblical growth, spiritual growth numerical growth, physical growth and social growth, stressing to the clerical congregation that God is expecting them to grow at their different local assemblies.
