JABU issues statement, provides clarification on varsity's scholarship, tuition discounts

Clarification has been made from the office of the Registrar, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Mr. Dapo Adeniyi, following a purported announcement and viral online broadcast of scholarships and grants provided by the University.

In a statement signed by JABU Registrar, obtained by CACNews, the following scholarships and discounts are currently available in the varsity.

Category A scholarships include, 100% tuition-free categories for Agricultural Economics, Animal Science and Crop Science. 80% tuition free categories for Religious Studies, entrepreneurship and HIstory & International Studies.

Category B scholarships include, "40% discount on tuition for CAC Pastors' children in JABU (on presentation of ELAT Certificate for husband and wife). 30% discount on tuition for CAC Pastors' children in JABU (without presentation of ELAT Certificate both or either of the parents). 20% discount on tuition for biological children of CAC members (on presentation of seed of blessing receipts for three years for both parents and student)."

Others include, "10% siblings discount on tuition to the 2nd child of a parent with two children enrolled as students. 10% siblings discount on tuition to the 2nd and 3rd children of a parent with children enrolled as students."
