The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has announced the appointment of Pastor Dr. Peter Olanrewaju as the 5th Director of Youth Affairs of the church.
The appointment of Pastor Olanrewaju was announced by the President, Pastor S. O. Oladele at the General Executive Council meeting held at All Saints Chapel, Basorun, Ibadan on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
Pastor Olanrewaju, who will officially assume duty in January 2025, would take over the reins of affairs from Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro, whose tenure closes in December 2024 after reaching the statutory age of 50.
The seven-year tenure of Pastor Gbuyiro as the Director of Youth Affairs (2017-2024) was marked by remarkable growth, significant development, and impressive achievements in the fellowship.
Pastor Olanrewaju has served in various capacities in the youth fellowship of the church.
Until this appointment, he was the Secretary of CACYOF National Academic Summit; Chairman, CACYOF Professional Fellowship; Secretary, CACYOF National Leadership Retreat Planning Committee and Member, C.A.C Youth Advisory Committee.
Also, he was the President, CACSF Moor Plantation, Ibadan, 2003-2004; P.R.O CACYOF, CAC Oke Ibukun, Iloro District Ile-Ife, Osun State from 1998- 2001; Sunday School Teacher, CAC Oke Ibukun, Iloro District, Ile-Ife, Osun State, 1999-2001 and President, Christian Student Fellowship, St Philip Ang. Gram. Sch., Ile-Ife, 1996-1998.
Born on September 9, 1979 in Kaduna State, but hails from Osun State, Pastor Olanrewaju is a dynamic Mission Mobilizer, seasoned Youth Trainer, and dedicated Pastor with 18 years of full-time missionary experience.
He holds a PhD in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, which has enriched his expertise in adaptive leadership, strategic planning, and implementation.
He serves as the Assembly Pastor at CAC House of Prayer, Tose-Moniya, Ibadan.
