The Coordinator, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola Mountain, Efon Alaye, Prophet Timothy Igbalajobi has charged Christians to adopt right attitude towards 2025 at the opening day of the 7-day online program tagged “Possessing 2025”.
During the programme's second session on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, Prophet Igbalajobi, referencing Deuteronomy 11:10-15, delivered a message titled 'The Year is Yours, Possess it!'
He emphasized that entering the new year with the right perspective and attitude is crucial to starting on a great note and ultimately possessing it.
Prophet Igbalajobi also outlined the 'Seven Instruments for Possessing 2025', emphasizing the importance of 'right prayers' as a crucial necessity for taking possession of the new year.
“It is very important for us to pray the right prayers. The act of praying the right prayers is lost in our midst today; people pray and do not get answers because they do not pray the right prayers.”
“Praying the right prayers will help us possess the year 2025.” he stressed.
Underscoring the importance of preparing for opportunities while awaiting answers to prayers, the clergy said,
“As you go into 2025, don’t wait for prophetic release or utterance alone, get yourself prepared for opportunities that will be coming. Opportunities will be flying around us; those who seem to have their prayers answered alone are people who really prepare for opportunities that are coming.”
He further advised Christians not to dodge the process they will face in the coming year, emphasizing that it is a crucial part of their making and growth process.
In his words, “When you are in a season and crisis is brewing up, do not pray against crisis or say that it should not come; it is part of the process to make you possess your possession.
“Do not dodge processes; Jesus Christ went through the process, devil came to torment Him but His eyes were on the prize. He never prayed away the process. In 2025, do not pray away the process.” He added.
Additionally, Prophet Igbalajobi emphasized that to possess the coming year, one must be extraordinary and swift in making good and great decisions.
He also encouraged believers to speak the right words to 'gatekeepers', citing the example of the daughters of Zelophehad, who effectively petitioned Moses in Numbers 27.
"Moses was a gatekeeper. If they had toyed with Moses, he would have used the custom of the land to judge the situation on the ground, and the daughters of Zelophehad would have lost out completely. But they treated their gatekeeper well by speaking respectfully to Moses, using the right words to approach him, which made him take their matter to God—a step he had never taken for others with similar issues before that time."
“There are gatekeepers in every year; if you toy with the gatekeepers of 2025, one will miss out completely. Know what you say in the presence of your gatekeeper.” He advised.
In his final point, Prophet Igbalajobi cautioned Christians against extravagance in the coming year.
On a final note he said “It is not impossible to possess the land, but you have to be diligent in making sure that you possess the year.”
The powerful charge was promptly followed by prophetic declarations.
