The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele, alongside all CAC leaders paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Oba Saliu Arowobekun Abdulkareem Adasofegbe (I), the Chairman of the King’s Council under Ekiti Local Government Area, Kwara State, Nigeria on Thursday January 23, 2025.
The Superintendent, Osi DCC, Pastor Adewumi A.O. and the Regional Superintendent, Babajide Region, Pastor S.O Owolabi respectively introduced the leaders of the church to the king and his council, the revered leaders of CAC were warmly received by the king, his chiefs, and other dignitaries present.
Speaking during the visit, Pastor Oladele emphasized the Yoruba adage, “A kii i kọja niwaju ile oba ká má k’oba” (One must not pass in front of a king's palace without paying homage). In his remarks, the President noted that their visit was to honor the king and show their respect.
In response, His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude for the visit, describing it as a remarkable gesture and a reflection of the church’s commitment to peace and unity.
He remarked, “What we need most as a community is prayer, and with your presence here today, I am confident that prayers have been answered for Osi.”
Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji, in his characteristic devotion to prayer and evangelism, prayed fervently for the king, his chiefs, and the entire Osi community.
He remarked that the visit of the CAC leaders would leave a lasting positive impact on the town.
The visit coincides with the celebration of the final burial of the 5th President of CAC Nigeria and overseas, Pastor John Dada Obafemi held in Isare Town, under Ekiti LGA, Kwara State.
The leaders used this opportunity to honor the King’s Council Chairman, HRH Oba Saliu Arowobekun Abdulkareem Adasofegbe (I) in Osi.
It was indeed a day to remember, filled with blessings, prayers, and historic moments that will resonate deeply with the people of Osi (Copied).
