CAC New Covenant Assembly celebrates Festival of Champions

 



There was unlimited worship, prayers, deliverance, singing and dancing, as Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), New Covenant Assembly, Iju-Ishaga, Lagos held its 2025 Festival of Champions on Sunday with the theme: “Exceeding Greatness”.

The annual event was organised to commemorate the anniversary of CAC New Covenant Assembly, ‘’where God is raising champions regularly.’’

The event drew worshippers from Iju, Ishaga, Ogba, Ikeja and their environs. It also attracted people from across the country.

Men, women, youths and children of the church were beautifully dressed, dancing to soul-impacting melodies from the highly-rated church choir (The Covenant Voices), as they led the congregation in worship and spirit-lifting hymns.

The Director of Administration, CAC Nigeria and Overseas, who's also the Setman of the church, Pastor Dr. Tope Dada said the celebration was not just about the present, but also to reflect on God’s benevolence and goodness since the inception of the church, and the progress made over the years.

He said: ‘’In obedience to the Holy Spirit, we have over the years connected with God’s mandate through soul lifting and life impacting programmes such as Couples’ Retreats, Prophetic and Power Prayer Services, Word Feast, Leadership and Business Development Academy, Teens and Youths Summit, Community Engagement Outreach, etc.

Present at the festival was Ekiti State Government House Chaplain, Pastor Segun Awolumate, who was the conference speaker. Others were veteran gospel musician, Evangelist J. A. Adelakun, (Ayewa International), Dr. & Mrs. Gboyega Coker, (DeCross Hospital), Elder Adekunle Oyesanya SAN, (CAC Director of Music), Pastor Oluseyi Adeyemi of CAC Worship Centre, Abiodun Olatunji, Deaconess Aderonke Omowaiye, politicians, technocrats, among several dignitaries from across the country.
