Jubilations and celebrations as members of Christ Apostolic Church Palace of Joy District, Ibafo, marked the 60th birthday celebrations of the District Superintendent and his wife, Pastor and Lady Evang. S. A. Odulana.
The celebration held at the church on Saturday, January 25, 2025, was characterised by thanksgiving, songs ministrations from the choir, and testimonies about the celebrants from the congregations.
In his sermon, the Superintendent of CAC Ekoro/Olota Zone, Pastor Onifade, attested to the genuineness of the celebrant’s call to ministry since knowing him from 1993.
Speaking from Psalm 99:1-9 and referencing the good association of the celebrants, he charged the congregation that in prayers, specific mentions should be made for God to surround them with good friends.
Reception followed the Thanksgiving service at the church premises. Music by King of Melody band and MC by Evangelist Olanrewaju and Ope Zion.
The service was well attended by ministers, ministers’ wives, church members, and well-wishers.
Pastor Samuel Faleye Adekunle Odulana was born on 25th January, 1965 in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. He attended Igan Wesley School, Ago-Iwoye in 1978, before proceeding to Methodist Comprehensive High School, Ago-Iwoye, in 1984. Then he had his tertiary education at Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) in 1991. He had his 2nd degree (MSc) at FUNAAB, in 2001.
His first work was at a computer firm before joining Eko International Bank which later changed to Skye Mortgage Bank where he was promoted to the post office as Head of finance department before his resignation to full-time ministry in the year 2004.
On the first Sunday of August in 2008, CAC Palace of Joy was planted by God through Pastor Odulana, and has today grown to become a District Headquarters with many assemblies and three other District Headquarters.
