CAC President, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele

As Christ Apostolic Church General Secretariat resumed work for the year on Monday, January 6, 2025, the president, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele, charged staff to imitate the Bible character, Mordecai, in the course of their service.
Addressing staff members and principal officers at CAC All Saints Chapel, Anlugbua, Bashorun, Ibadan, Pastor Oladele spoke on the topic "Reward of Faithfulness", referencing Esther 2:21-23.
He highlighted how Mordecai's unwavering faithfulness despite his initial insignificance even by the reason of his name, led to his rise to a position of significance in a foreign land.
He encouraged workers to follow the examples of Mordecai as well as the church's founding fathers.
With reference to the examples of the founding fathers, Pastor Oladele noted,
"We may not know Esther, Mordecai, Daniel, Joseph and other characters in the Bible, but we know Isaac Babalola Akinyele; we do not know Apostle Peter but we know Baba Odubanjo. We do not know Paul, but we know Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola. These were men in whose veins blood flows."
Speaking further on the Mordecai character and addressing leaders and people in positions of authority, he stressed the importance of not despising the days of small beginnings.
"Wherever we are today and whatever position God has placed us, we should never forget that we were once little. I may be whatever today, but I was a little boy. If we could live by this consciousness, always reminding ourselves that we were little, we will not misbehave." He noted.
Speaking further, Pastor Oladele cited Mordecai's selfless care for Esther as a notable example of his remarkable faithfulness.
He said, "You can never tell what that little man, boy or girl serving under you may become tomorrow.
Who could have thought that someone like Mordecai could have played such huge role in the history of Israel; God works in mysterious ways.
"Little did he realized too what role that Esther would play in the history of Israel. The king was looking for a queen who must be a virgin . What if Mordecai had violated the little girl, what would have become of that woman later in life? Never ever look down on anyone." He advised.
"You can never tell what that little man, boy or girl serving under you may become tomorrow. Never ever look down on anyone; be careful with the way you treat the little ones." He added.
Pastor Oladele highlighted Mordecai's faithfulness, citing Esther 2:22, where Mordecai exposed an evil plot to kill the king.
He then charged workers to be prepared to expose evil doers while being careful not to become talebearers.
"To be faithful, you must be prepared if need be, to expose evil doers - those that are given to evil plots. Your conscience must prick you to make it known that some people are evil doers. There is no sin in that." He stated.
"Does the interest of your king or leader matter to you?Just as Mordecai told the king, tell the king and let the king deal with such people. I am not talking about being a talebearer; the Bible says thou shall not go up and down as a talebearer among your people." He added.
Pastor Oladele also highlighted Mordecai's consistency, noting that he refused to bow to Haman.
"If we are Jews indeed we will despise the Hamans of this world no matter who they are." He said.
He concluded by encouraging workers to remain faithful, citing God's reward for Mordecai's faithfulness.
"If God could reward Mordecai's faithfulness, that same God is still alive till today; it is not easy especially for the flesh, but in the end, it pays to be faithful." He concluded.
Immediately following the President's stirring charge, the General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye, led a powerful prayer session, interceding on behalf of the staff, leaders, and the nation.
The General Superintendent of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi close the programme with fatherly blessings, while the President said the grace.
