CAC President visits Sam Maris University, urges believers to cultivate obedience to God

En route to Akungba for the outing service of the late Pa Gabriel Adelabu Ologunorisa, the President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele, made a stop at Samaris University in Supare Akoko, Ondo State, where he paid a courtesy visit.

Sam Maris University is a newly established Higher Education Institution licensed by the Federal Republic of Nigeria to operate as a Private University and was founded by Elder Samuel Ologunorisa (SAN), an Elder at CAC Mount of Victory, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State.

In his welcome address, Elder Ologunorisa stressed that Sam Maris university stands as a testament to the fruit obedience. 

He recalled how he was instructed to do some works for the Lord in the Church at Abuja and Akungba respectively and he had to take a loan to fulfil that obligation after which the Lord began to do for him more than he could even imagine. 

In his remarks the President encouraged believers to always learn how to obey the Lord assuring that it doesn't go in vain. 

He asserted that if we want to leave a lasting legacy behind when we are no more here then we must first live such a legacy while we are here. 

Thereafter, prayers were offered for the continued growth and success of the university as well as her host community. 

In the entourage of the President were the General Evangelist of CAC, Prophet Hezekiah O. OLADEJI, Regional Superintendent of ODUBANJO Region, Pastor G.O. OBIWALE, Special Assistant to the President, Pastor Tunde D. Asokeji, Secretary of Odubanjo Region, Pastor I.A. Toromade, Superintendent of Akungba Zone, Pastor P.B. Olajide, Superintendent of Agugu Ibadan Zone, Pastor Laolu Adewuyi and others.

Also, on ground to receive the President and his delegation was Chairman of Governing Council of the university and former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Ishola Olanusi, as well as members of Management and staff of the university led by vice chancellor, Professor Francis Gbòré.
